Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 227.1 lb, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Refludan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: embolism, haematuria, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, thrombosis. Refludan dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Refludan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWITZERLAND on July 08, 2005. Male patient, 59 years of age, was treated with Refludan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cerebral haemorrhage, deep vein thrombosis , depressed level of consciousness, haematuria, respiratory arrest, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Refludan dosage: unknown. Patient died on 05/13/2005.
