Refludan side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 01, 2006. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Refludan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic dissection, aortic valve incompetence, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, chest pain What is  chest pain, haemodialysis, hemiparesis, hepatic function abnormal, renal failure acute. Refludan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARGATROBAN, WARFARIN. Patient died.

Female patient, 45 years of age, weighting 242.5 lb, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Refludan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, anaphylactic reaction, chest pain What is  chest pain, coagulation time prolonged, dyspnoea, hepatic enzyme increased, hypotension. Refludan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ANALGESICS. Patient recovered.
