Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 08, 2005. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 126.3 lb, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, leukaemia, lymphoma
, tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest
, cholelithiasis, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematuria, hepatic failure, hepatotoxicity, platelet count decreased, pulmonary haemorrhage, refusal of treatment by relative. Rasburicase dosage: 0.2 MG/KG QD - INTRAVENOUS NOS. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, VANCOMYCIN, CEFTAZIDIME, NAFCILLIN, ACYCLOVIR. Patient died on 11/16/2004.
