Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 21, 2005. Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 207.2 lb, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, tumour lysis syndrome, acute leukaemia and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anti-hbs antibody, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, confusional state, cough, cytomegalovirus antibody positive, dyspnoea. Rasburicase dosage: 0.2 MG/KG QD - INTRAVENOUS NOS. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, CYTARABINE, MITOXANTRONE, PIPERACILLIN, GENTAMICIN, CEFTAZIDIME, VANCOMYCIN. Patient recovered.

Rasburicase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, CYTARABINE, MITOXANTRONE, ZOSYN, GENTAMICIN, FORTAZ, VANCOMYCIN, ACYCLOVIR. Patient recovered.
