Rasburicase Side Effects Report #4582433-6
Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 21, 2005. Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 207.2 lb, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase decreased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood fibrinogen increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, confusional state, dyspnoea, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, liver function test abnormal. Rasburicase dosage: 0.2 MG/KG QD - INTRAVENOUS NOS. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, CYTARABINE, MITOXANTRONE, PIPERACILLIN, GENTAMICIN, CEFTAZIDIME, VANCOMYCIN. Patient recovered.
