Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with stress ulcer, listeria sepsis and was treated with Ranitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: thrombocytopenia. Ranitidine dosage: 50MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DROTRECOGIN ALFA, CEFUROXIME, METRONIDAZOLE, AMOXICILLIN, BENZYLPENICILLIN, HEPARIN. Patient died on 10/03/2004.
