Female patient, 40 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Ranitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema multiforme, pharyngeal oedema, swollen tongue. Ranitidine dosage: 150 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NICORETTE, FOLIC ACID, NORFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
