Raltegravir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Oct 23, 2007. Male patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection
, castleman's disease and was treated with Raltegravir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, alanine aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatosplenomegaly, hyperglycaemia, immune reconstitution syndrome, incorrect dose administered. Raltegravir dosage: 400 MG/BID/PO. During the same period patient was treated with ETRAVIRINE, DEXAMETHASONE, DARUNAVIR, LAMIVUDINE, RITONAVIR, TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
