Rabeprazole Side Effects Report #5623918-0
Rabeprazole side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 23, 2008. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage, tuberculous pleurisy and was treated with Rabeprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, depressed level of consciousness, diabetic coma, haematemesis, hyperglycaemia, interstitial lung disease, shock, tuberculous pleurisy. Rabeprazole dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, RIFADIN, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, MUCOSTA, MALFA, THROMBIN LOCAL SOLUTION, ADEROXAL, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/27/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: interstitial lung disease. Rabeprazole dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GASMOTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Rabeprazole dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, SELBEX, MAGMITT, HALTHROW, FLUMARIN, ADONA, ALESION. Patient died on 05/03/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, MAGMITT, HALTHROW, FLUMARIN, SELBEX, ADONA, ALESION. Patient died on 05/03/2006.

Rabeprazole dosage: 20 MG 1 IN 1 D ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROCYLIN, PROMAC, GLYBURIDE, METFORMIN, NORVASC, PLATIBIT, PRORENAL. Patient died on 04/21/2006.
