Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with restless legs syndrome and was treated with Quinine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: contusion, haemoglobin decreased, petechiae, platelet count decreased. Quinine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PLATELET PHORESIS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
