Female patient, 45 years of age, weighting 200.0 lb, was diagnosed with muscle spasms and was treated with Quinine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , chest pain , depression , dizziness , dyspnoea, eye disorder, heart rate irregular. Quinine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DILANTIN, DOCUSATE, RESTORIL, ISORDIL, ESTRADIOL, LIPITOR, OXYBUTYNIN CHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Quinine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 31, 2008. Female patient, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with muscle spasms and was treated with Quinine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, diarrhoea, fatigue, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, nausea , platelet count decreased, renal failure acute. Quinine dosage: 325MG DAILY AS NEEDED PO. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN LISPRO, INSULIN INSULATARD NPH NORDISK, ASPIRIN, ATORVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
