Quetiapine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from CANADA on Aug 05, 2008. Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, akathisia, somnambulism, tooth repair and was treated with Quetiapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: akathisia, dystonia , hypotension, somnambulism. Quetiapine dosage: TAKEN FOR SEVEN YEARS AT ONSET OF DYSTONIA, DOSE INCREASED OCCASIONALLY BY 100-200MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with QUETIAPINE FUMARATE, DIAZEPAM, PHENYTOIN, SERTRALINE, CLONAZEPAM, LOCAL ANAESTHETIC. Patient recovered.
