Questran and cardio-respiratory arrest Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Questran Side Effects Report #5171221-8
Questran side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 08, 2006. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Questran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, obstructive airways disorder, pneumonia . Questran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARAVA. Patient died on 01/05/2005.

Questran side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Dec 08, 2006. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , osteoporosis , prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, hypertension and was treated with Questran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, pneumonia . Questran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARAVA, SULFASALAZINE, BENET, VOLTAREN, CYTOTEC, ROXATIDINE ACETATE, SELECTOL, ALDOMET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/05/2005.
