Pyrimethamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Feb 13, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with congenital toxoplasmosis and was treated with Pyrimethamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bone marrow failure, choreoathetosis, grand mal convulsion, infection , neutropenia, no therapeutic response, respiratory failure. Pyrimethamine dosage: 1 MG/KG / PER DAY /. During the same period patient was treated with SULFADIAZINE, LEUCOVORIN CALCIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
