Pyridium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 01, 2008. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with dyspnoea and was treated with Pyridium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium decreased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, condition aggravated, cyanosis, dyspnoea, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, methaemoglobinaemia, somnolence, tachycardia. Pyridium dosage: 200MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SALBUTAMOL, FERROUS SULPHATE, MIANSERIN, THEOPHYLLINE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 125.0 lb, was diagnosed with bladder spasm and was treated with Pyridium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, chest discomfort, dizziness , dyspnoea, nausea . Pyridium dosage: 200 MG, SINGLE; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREMARIN, LEVBID, PROPYLTHIOURACIL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PRELIEF. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
