Pyridium side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 01, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 108.7 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Pyridium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, anaemia, chromaturia, confusional state, disorientation, jaundice What is  jaundice, mental status changes, metabolic acidosis, myocardial infarction. Pyridium dosage: 200 MG QID PO [ 7 DAYS PRIOR TO HOSPITALIZATION]. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL W, GLUCOTROL, FLOMAX, LASIX, RESTORIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
