Pyrazinamide Side Effects Report #4590983-1
Pyrazinamide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 22, 2005. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis
and was treated with Pyrazinamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, hepatic failure, hyperbilirubinaemia. Pyrazinamide dosage: 1500 MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPIN, SPIRONOLACTONE, VIT B, VIT K, FLAGYL, LEVQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
