Pyrazinamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 11, 2005. Female patient, 28 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis What is  tuberculosis and was treated with Pyrazinamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, dizziness What is  dizziness, encephalopathy, eosinophilia, hepatic necrosis, hepatomegaly, hyperpyrexia, hypoacusis. Pyrazinamide dosage: 1500 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, ISONIOZID, RIFAMPIN, ETHAMBUTOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
