Pyrazinamide Side Effects Report #5060097-5
Pyrazinamide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SPAIN on May 10, 2006. Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis
and was treated with Pyrazinamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, hepatic atrophy, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic necrosis, hepatitis
, liver transplant
, renal failure. Pyrazinamide dosage: 1800 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, RIFAMPIN, STREPTOMYCIN, CIPROFLOXACIN, ETHAMBUTOL, TRAMADOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
