Pyrazinamide Side Effects Report #4670297-1
Pyrazinamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 11, 2005. Male patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis prophylaxis and was treated with Pyrazinamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, abdominal tenderness, anorexia, anti-thyroid antibody positive, antinuclear antibody positive, autoimmune hepatitis, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased, eosinophil count increased, fatigue. Pyrazinamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
