Purinethol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Mar 14, 2006. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease What is  crohn's disease and was treated with Purinethol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, balance disorder, diarrhoea, fall What is  fall, haemoglobin decreased, intestinal resection, movement disorder What is  movement disorder, vertigo, vomiting. Purinethol dosage: 50 MILLIGRAM QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
