Pseudoephedrine side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Apr 24, 2006. Male patient, 16 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Pseudoephedrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriospasm coronary, beta haemolytic streptococcal infection, catheter related complication, ejection fraction decreased, electrocardiogram st segment elevation, myocardial infarction, pharyngitis bacterial, sinusitis bacterial, tonsillitis bacterial. Pseudoephedrine dosage: THREE DOSES-TOTAL DOSE OF 180 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CEFAZOLIN, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
