Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease, abdominal distension and was treated with Protonix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , cardiac disorder, chest discomfort, dyspnoea, mitral valve prolapse, palpitations. Protonix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZELNORM. Patient recovered.
