Protaphane side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Oct 12, 2005. Female patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus insulin-dependent and was treated with Protaphane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dysgeusia, dyspnoea, hypoaesthesia, hypoglycaemia, pharyngolaryngeal pain, swollen tongue. Protaphane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NOVORAPID PENFILL. Patient recovered.
