Protaphane side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on May 08, 2007. Male patient, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus and was treated with Protaphane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose fluctuation, cerebrovascular accident, coronary artery bypass , transient ischaemic attack. Protaphane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIAMICRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
