Protamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 12, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lung infiltration, procedural hypotension, pulmonary hypertension What is  pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary oedema, transfusion-related acute lung injury. Protamine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 17, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, hypotension, post procedural complication, pulmonary oedema, respiratory distress. Protamine dosage: 420 MG ONCE IV BOLUS. Patient died on 02/23/2007.
