Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with arteriovenous shunt operation, thrombectomy and was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , hypotension, procedural complication, sepsis , urinary tract infection enterococcal, ventricular fibrillation. Protamine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PROTAMINE SULPHATE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, MORPHINE, PANCURONIUM, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, HEPARIN, AMINOCAPROIC ACID. Patient died on 12/14/2006.
