Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 22, 2008. Female patient, 61 years of age, was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory distress. Protamine dosage: 15 MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, LISINOPRIL, ALENDRONATE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, HYDROCODONE, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 15, 2006. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 275.0 lb, was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, carbon dioxide decreased, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, oxygen saturation decreased. Protamine dosage: 40 MG X 1 IV PUSH. Patient died on 02/03/2006.
