Protamine Side Effects Report #5118182-5
Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 28, 2006. Male patient, 33 years of age, weighting 360.9 lb, was diagnosed with coagulopathy and was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, electromechanical dissociation, procedural hypotension. Protamine dosage: 8MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM ACETATE, SIMVASTATIN, WARFARIN, RANITIDINE, ASPIRIN, CINACALCET, INSULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

, electromechanical dissociation, procedural complication. Protamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KEFZOL, PEPCID, REGLAN, BICITRA, VERSED, LIDOCAINE, NOVOLOG, LOVASTATIN. Patient died on 04/21/2008.
