Protamine Side Effects Report #4783229-2
Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 28, 2005. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 197.0 lb, was diagnosed with infusion, skin disorder and was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, bradycardia, hypotension, procedural complication. Protamine dosage: 50 MG IV X 1. During the same period patient was treated with MARCAINE, TOPROL, PLAVIX, NIACIN. Patient recovered.

Protamine dosage: 50 MG X1 IV. During the same period patient was treated with PROTAMINE SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

, hypotension, procedural complication, pulmonary hypertension
, renal failure, systemic mycosis. Protamine dosage: 15 MG -1.5 ML- 1 DOSE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with PROTAMINE SULPHATE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, MORPHINE, PANCURONIUM, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, HEPARIN, AMINOCAPROIC ACID. Patient died on 12/14/2006.
