Protamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 25, 2008. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with vascular operation and was treated with Protamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiac arrest . Protamine dosage: 10MG ONCE IV. Patient died on 04/21/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiac arrest . Protamine dosage: 50MG ONE TIME ONLY. During the same period patient was treated with ISOFLURANE, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL. Patient recovered.
