Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Proscar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, diabetes mellitus, dizziness What is  dizziness, movement disorder What is  movement disorder, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, respiratory failure. Proscar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAMSULOSIN, ACCUPRIL, CHOLRAZEPATE, CLARINEX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/06/2005.
