Proscar side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 27, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Proscar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, diabetes mellitus, dizziness , movement disorder , pneumonia , pulmonary embolism , respiratory failure. Proscar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAMSULOSIN, ACCUPRIL, CHOLRAZEPATE, CLARINEX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/06/2005.

Proscar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, BISOPROLOL, LERCANIDIPINE, BENDROFLUMETHIAZIDE, RAMIPRIL. Patient died on 01/09/2005.
