Proscar side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 02, 2006. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia, antibiotic prophylaxis and was treated with Proscar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic failure, urinary retention. Proscar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, CETOSTEARYL ALCOHOL AND PHENOXYETHANOL AND LAURYL SULPHATE, BETAMETHASONE VALERATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
