Female patient, 19 years of age, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic failure, hepatic fibrosis, hyperthyroidism, liver injury, liver transplant . Propylthiouracil dosage: 100 MG;TID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
