Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 145.0 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrooesophageal reflux disease, glomerulonephritis, haemoglobin decreased. Propylthiouracil dosage: 5 MG TWICE DAILY PO. Patient recovered.
