Propylthiouracil side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 08, 2008. Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, prostate cancer What is  prostate cancer and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, febrile neutropenia, mucosal inflammation, oedema. Propylthiouracil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, AMIODARONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
