Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, toxic nodular goitre and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody increased, antinuclear antibody positive, arthralgia, blood albumin decreased, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, crepitations. Propylthiouracil dosage: 300 MG; QD; PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
