Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: basedow's disease, blister, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased, disease recurrence, oedema peripheral, pain What is  pain, purpura, rash What is  rash, skin exfoliation. Propylthiouracil dosage: 100 MG;TID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE, PROPANOLOL LA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, acid fast stain positive, anorexia, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, antinuclear antibody positive, arthralgia, autoimmune disorder, blister, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased. Propylthiouracil dosage: 150 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
