Propylthiouracil side effect was reported by a Physician from SINGAPORE on May 09, 2007. Female patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with basedow's disease and was treated with Propylthiouracil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, arthralgia, arthritis What is  arthritis, body temperature increased, diarrhoea, episcleritis, goitre, malaise. Propylthiouracil dosage: 100 MG; BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, arthralgia, blood albumin decreased, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased, exophthalmos, glomerulonephritis, goitre, haematuria, haemoglobin decreased. Propylthiouracil dosage: 300 MG;QD;PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, acid fast stain positive, anorexia, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, antinuclear antibody positive, arthralgia, autoimmune disorder, blister, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased. Propylthiouracil dosage: 150 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
