Proparacaine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from RUSSIAN FEDERATION on June 15, 2006. Male patient, 68 years of age, was treated with Proparacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactoid reaction, cardiac failure, cataract operation complication, respiratory arrest, respiratory failure. Proparacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VISCOELASTIC PREPARATION, VISCOELASTIC PREPARATION, PHENAZEPAMUM, BETADINE, ATROPINE, PHENYLEPHRINE HYDROCHLORIDE, BRINZOLAMIDE, BETA BLOCKER. Patient died.
