Promethazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 04, 2008. Male patient, 90 years of age, was diagnosed with nausea  and was treated with Promethazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , confusional state, grand mal convulsion, hallucination, hallucination, visual, hypertension, nausea , tachycardia. Promethazine dosage: 12.5MG ONCE IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest , cold sweat, dizziness , hyperhidrosis, malaise, nausea , unresponsive to stimuli. Promethazine dosage: 25 MG IV X 1 ONE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with LOVENOX. Patient recovered.
