Promethazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 21, 2007. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 138.0 lb, was diagnosed with vomiting and was treated with Promethazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood potassium decreased, blood pressure increased, confusional state, dehydration, hypokalaemia, hypothyroidism, livedo reticularis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Promethazine dosage: 25 MG EVERY 4 HOURS PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, MEGACE, OXYCODONE, PAROXETINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
