Prolastin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 30, 2008. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency and was treated with Prolastin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, feeling abnormal, heart rate increased. Prolastin dosage: 3288 MG; QW; IV. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ZEMAIRA, BENADRYL, TOPROL, SPIRIVA, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency and was treated with Prolastin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carotid artery stenosis, feeling abnormal, hypoaesthesia, lumbar spinal stenosis, nerve compression, sciatica , spondylolisthesis. Prolastin dosage: 60 MG/KG;QW;IV. During the same period patient was treated with ADVAIR DISKUS, SPIRIVA, ALBUTEROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 42 years of age, weighting 189.0 lb, was diagnosed with alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency and was treated with Prolastin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort, dyspnoea, erythema, feeling abnormal, feeling of body temperature change, headache , nervousness, painful respiration, skin burning sensation. Prolastin dosage: 2617.5 MG; 1X; IV. During the same period patient was treated with PRILOSEC, METHOCARBAMOL, NAPROXEN, METOPROLOL, DOXEPIN, SPIRIVA, AMITRIPTYLINE, PROVENTIL. Patient recovered.
