Prolastin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2006. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 350.5 lb, was diagnosed with alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency and was treated with Prolastin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetes mellitus, fatigue, flushing. Prolastin dosage: 9540MG (+/- 10%) WEEKLY IV. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRONOLACTOLONE, LASIX, LEVAQUIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, dizziness , fatigue, flushing, oedema peripheral, pollakiuria, urine ketone body present, vision blurred. Prolastin dosage: 9540 MG, TOTAL DAILY, INTRAVEN. Patient recovered.
