Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with cancer pain and was treated with Prochlorperazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, depressed level of consciousness, muscle rigidity, muscular weakness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pyrexia, tachycardia, tremor. Prochlorperazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, TOFRANIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
