Probenecid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from GERMANY on Nov 03, 2005. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with gout What is  gout, tachyarrhythmia and was treated with Probenecid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, csf protein increased, guillain-barre syndrome What is  guillain-barre syndrome, immobile, lower motor neurone lesion, neuromyopathy, paresis. Probenecid dosage: 2 MG, IN 2 DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with VERAPAMIL, FUROSEMIDE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, AMBROXOL, THEOPHYLLINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
