Probenecid side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 10, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with familial mediterranean fever, helicobacter infection and was treated with Probenecid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, alopecia, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, cholestasis, dehydration, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, gastritis erosive. Probenecid dosage: 1.5-0.5MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, ACEBUTOLOL, RAMIPRIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, MOLSIDOMINE, ACETYLSALICYLATE, AMOXICILLIN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
