Primaxin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with tracheostomy and was treated with Primaxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase decreased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, platelet count decreased, prothrombin time prolonged. Primaxin dosage: 250 MG Q8H IV. During the same period patient was treated with LIPOSYN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
