Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 66.14 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal sepsis and was treated with Primaxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, brain oedema, cerebellar infarction, cerebral infarction, convulsion, disseminated intravascular coagulation, pleural effusion, pulmonary haemorrhage. Primaxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, CEFTAZIDIME. Patient died on 04/04/2004.
