Primaxin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 21, 2007. Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 66.14 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal sepsis and was treated with Primaxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, brain oedema, cerebellar infarction, cerebral infarction, convulsion, disseminated intravascular coagulation, pleural effusion, pulmonary haemorrhage. Primaxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, CEFTAZIDIME. Patient died on 04/04/2004.
